Happy New year I want to start of by saying thank you to everyone who subscribed and shared various posts on this blog. I pray each person who has come cross this blog has been touched in a way that has either caused conviction or a change in their thinking.

I am also thankful that we made it this far ! God gave as the grace to step into 2015. I am truly grateful. Millions of people stepped into 2014 not knowing that they would not see 2015. That in-itself should not be taken for granted.

At the beginning of each year, different people release prophetic words of encouragement from the Lord. For the most part people do not really take it seriously. Some people do not believe God still speaks through people and others don't even know that God still encourages the Body of Christ.

One thing we need to be aware of in our walk is the fact that we are part of the body of Christ. You will see me refer to this quite a bit through out my posts. This is because I am not a single agent who is isolated. Rather God has created me with a unique purpose and destiny within the body of Christ. I believe that the body of Christ, as demonstrated in the book of Acts, should be self sufficient. Meaning, where there is a need, as the body we should be able to supply this need to our fellow brethren.

That being said, when the Lord speaks to His people, He waits for a response from us. Our response is simply to stand in agreement ( for the promises of God are yes and amen in Him) with what he has spoken and receive what he has intended for us.

I believe that this year is The year of the Overcomer's !

God’s People Are Comforted

“Comfort, yes, comfort My people!”

Says your God.

“Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her,

That her warfare is ended,

That her iniquity is pardoned;

For she has received from the Lord’s hand

Double for all her sins.”

The voice of one crying in the wilderness:

“Prepare the way of the Lord;

Make straight in the desert[a]

A highway for our God.

Every valley shall be exalted

And every mountain and hill brought low;

The crooked places shall be made straight

And the rough places smooth;

This is your season to enter into a - Passionate Rest - living by His Abundant grace and receiving what He has for you without striving. Stand Firm on His word. And Speak it into existence. Because whatever we bind here on earth will be bound in heaven. Remember He who started a good work in your will be faithful to complete it. What ever hardships you went through in 2014 get ready for a season of rest!
