Fulfill your Destiny: Kingdom Women With a Purpose Driven prt1

As a body of Christ, we have been misdirected in worship. Destruction of life have clouded what God intended when he called us to be "Christ- Like".  Hebrew 12:2 tells us to 'keep your eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of your faith'. We do this through Holy Spirit, who enables us to cast down strong holds aka thought process that we have learned from this would and really re-define what it is to be Christ- Like. All these illusions and destructions that the devil puts on will no longer be a factor, rather they will just be actors helping us step into our destiny.

Sister, are you fully functioning in what God intended for you in this life? When you truly look at your life do you see that it has destiny and purpose? In Jeremaih 1:5, God told you that ' before I formed you in your mothers womb I knew you, before you where born I set you apart, I appointed you as a prophetess to the nations'.  Kingdom Woman of God, do you not understanding that you have a destiny within you waiting to unfold?  You have been set apart, hand picked from God for God, you are a world changer, appointed to function fully in the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit he has available for you.

In Jeremaih 29:11  God said to you 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,  thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and hope'. Ladies, God can speak and it is. But when it comes to you, he takes the time to THINK and process in his mind a plan and a purpose. He takes the time to orchestrate your life with such brilliance and excellence. He looks at you and say mighty Woman of Valor, you are of virtue even when you are still a hot mess.

Society, nations and continent are shaped by people with a dream. Any dream worthy talking about is a dream that is spiritually conceived and has to be manifested in the physical realm as a destiny. In Ephesians 2:10 Apostle Paul outlines clearly our identity in Christ when he says, " for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepares beforehand that we should walk in them." Outside of Jesus, there is nothing, it is all vanity. With him John tells as that all things where created, therefore an empire built has to be built on Christ the rock in which we stand.

A Lot of the time, we find ourselves fantasizing about heaven, rather then living out the purpose God has for us here on earth. If God was all about heaven, as soon as we get saved he would take us (I wish He did) to heaven right away. We are to leave with a strong impact on this earth. A women with a dream is a women with the destiny to change a generation in her hands with the Christ within her.

If you have not already read Sarah's Post on Identity in Christ to gain a deeper understanding on who you are in Christ. Purpose begins with Christ. This is Part one of A series! Stay tuned to the rest !

Love Shamiso Muzorewa,

Here are some scriptures to Speak and mediate on. Click on the scripture it will direct you to others!

Psalm 138:8 ESV

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.

Romans 12:2 ESV

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Romans 8:28 ESV

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Matthew 5:13-16 ESV

“You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Job 22:21 ESV

“Agree with God, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.

Philippians 4:13 ESV

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Regret - Testimony

Even though I am delivered from sexual immorality, which is a sin that used to easily trip me up, I found myself occasionally feeling regret about that past and in turn felt unworthy.
Now I understand that I have to remind myself that when God set me free He not only set me free from that sin but from the feelings of shame and regret. I have been cleansed from all unrighteousness (Colossians 1:15-22). So I should therefore no longer live in shame and regret. The Lord and my saviour has forgiven me and because I am in Christ, I do not live in condemnation (Romans 8:1). My past and the deliverance of that sin is only a testimony of God's glory! It is a beautiful illustration of his GOODNESS. How can I possibly regret that! So ladies, we have to remember to live in the newness of life given to us through Christ (Galations 2:20). Let us not be stuck in the past but remember that what God has brought us through and out is a reflection of his Love.

Set Apart

My word from God today is to be set apart.
It is so amazing how the Lord answers us so clearly and quickly sometimes!
I went to bed thinking with this thought in my mind... "I claim to be God's child.. but how am I really different from everyone else... what does that look like?"

Okay sidenote: I have had the Holy Bible app for forever but JUST found out a few days ago that they have bible study plans! I kinda went crazy and subscribed to quite a few! So on morning 1 of checking them out.. it just so happened that every reading was somehow connected to my query last night!
All my devotions and bible verses this morning highlighted the role we have as believers to be set apart from the rest of the world.
I read Romans 6 which talks about how we died with Christ -- we are no longer slaves to sin the way we used to be!
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin - because anyone who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. Romans 6:6-8
The next daily devotional focused on Proverbs 1 which warns us to pursue wisdom and shun evil
As if that wasn't enough, I looked at Psalm 1. This chapter presents what the way of the wicked looks like, compared to the way of the righteous.
To top it all off, the bible verse of the day is:
But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty. 1 Corinthians 1:27

Wow! This was so powerful to me. These passages all relate to being set apart in that they are reminders that God's ways are not the world's ways! God, in his mighty wisdom (which we can tap into through the Holy Spirit), has called His children to lead a life that is different! The world thinks it has everything figured out - but we are supposed to look foolish and weak even when we pursue God's righteous ways.
As a Christian, how do I stand apart from the ungodly, sinful world?

Got Soul Ties?

Find yourself giving your all in relationships? Are you a woman who loves too much? Have you been the best you can be yet find yourself in the same situation again? Have you found yourself in the spin cycle repeating the same patterns over and over and over again: dumped, manipulated, used, abandoned...alone. My dear, you may have a soul tie.

What is a soul tie? Quentin McCall describes it as, "two souls tied together by the spirit mainly caused by sex and sexual abuse". His blog post, "3 Things You Need to Know About Soul Ties" provides more information.

This blog won't be spent going on and on about soul ties and how you can break them. Soul ties was one of my struggles and so I'll point you to all of the resources that helped me...because now I am free, redeemed and whole.

Joyce Meyer - The Healing Word

Scroll down to the "Free Downloads" section of this page on Joyce Meyer's website. Look up for yourself and write down the scriptures she provides in "Spiritual Healing Scriptures" and "Emotional/Mental Healing Scriptures". Meditate on them...it really works.

Spoken Word - Soul Ties

Other Tips
  1. Stay in the Word. Learn about the promises God has for your life. Find your identity in Christ.
  2. Whenever you think of him or her...pray for him/her. Anytime I missed my ex I prayed for him. Any time I was mad at him, I prayed for him. Any time I thought of the broken promises, empty words and lost time...I prayed...that he would become a true godly man, free of all that separated him from God - because he too deserves to be whole. I prayed that what he did to me did not happen to him and that he would be blessed and forgiven...given prosperity and a bright future despite how I felt he did me wrong.
  3. Rebuke toxic thoughts. I wrote a biblical response for every thought that came to me in my journal. e.g. "I miss him. I want him back. I miss being held. I was so happy." --> "Do not arouse or awaken love before it so desires." (Songs 2:7)
  4. Do your part. You have to delete the pictures and the text messages. You can't expect God to do a work in you in the spiritual when you aren't doing anything in the natural. I don't listen to songs that remind me of my ex, I deleted our pictures together on Instagram. I deleted pictures we had together...and their duplicates. I even had to delete him from Skype because seeing him popup would make my heart race and just wasn't doing me any good.
  5. Remember that it's God's job to work on his/her heart. Talking to him, nagging him, having sex with him, sending him money, etc...will NOT and never will change him. Let go and let God do all of that.
  6. Forget. Forget what he did. Forget what he said. And if you can't do that...hold on to Romans 8: 28 for dear life: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." Do you love God? Are you walking in God's purpose? Are you living for Him? If so, this promise is for you.
Remember,
  • What God has for YOU cannot be taken away from YOU! - Heather Lindsey
  • You can't miss what God has for you. "Your" man cannot get away. - Michelle McKinney Hammond
Walk in love. Don't wait for this guy to come back. Don't sit around wondering why this happened to you...again! (Sidenote: When I asked God that question in my own life He said, "You did not love me with your whole heart.") Use your period of singleness to work on yourself and have God work on you. The Holy Spirit is longing to come in and FIX you, but you have to allow Him. Allow Him. I really hope this sparks a change in you...I'm only 3 months in from realizing I had soul ties, finding the root causes and breaking them! God is able!

Kingdom Women: An Introduction

Kingdom Women came to life in July 2013

We are just four women who seek to expand God's king domain (kingdom) and use our talents and strengths to become warriors for his purpose. God was working on each of us separately, calling us out of various situations: for one it was loneliness and a painful breakup, for another is was a lingering feeling of emptiness, for another it was just a fiery passion to get closer to God. We were pursuing God as best we knew how, but we had one problem: we were alone. We had no one to really talk to about our walk and each prayed for someone to come into our lives to encourage us, love on us and hold us accountable. That's when God's hand really began to move.

One Facebook post inspired a Facebook message and walah! Zemi and Shamiso were connected. At the same time, Shamiso, Chenai and Solape had been sharing testimonies and scriptures with each other. Then it clicked, we were all facing the same struggles and needed the same things: fellowship, accountability, encouragement and love. These four ladies - moved to find their purpose in God - then joined in together and formed a whatsapp group entitled: Kingdom Women. Shamiso, who was just about to embark on reading "Kingdom Women" by Tony Evans and Crystal Hurst-Evans, found it appropriate to name the group after the book. Kingdom Women - women of God's kingdom - is exactly what we are striving to be. We are all young women under the age of 25 trying to live within the will of God. We fast together, pray together, worship together (from a distance), learn together and love God together.

Our prayer now is that many others will be joined to our purpose. We welcome you, aspiring Kingdom Woman, to be a part of our togetherness as we share the messages God is giving us and the insights he is placing on our hearts. Share a few of our blog entries with your friends. Do your little part in expanding God's kingdom as we show the world that Christianity is not dead because Christ lives

May you be covered by the blood of Jesus and be made spotless and without blemish as he completes the great work he started in you. Welcome...to Becoming Kingdom Women.
